To rise on plane you need 18 inches, once on plane, only four inches.

Can these boats be used in both fresh and salt water?
They are rigged for fresh and salt water. More maintenance is necessary if using in salt water.

Marine grade, coast guard approved with heat shrunk connectors,

Are the boats very noisy?
Compared to a 200 horsepower outboard, they are quiet.
