JET BOATING AS A COMMERCIAL VENTURE

Imagine being one of the first in your region to offer the newest adventure water sport – Jet Boating. Established in New Zealand for over 30 years, jet boating has proven to be a safe and profitable venture. Smoky Mountain Jet Boats is proud to have teamed up with one of the premier operators and designers to bring this exciting technology to the U.S.

These state-of-the-art aluminum boats (equipped with three rails for passengers to hold onto) ride like a ski on the surface of the water. With only four inches of draft they have the unique ability to do a Hamilton spin - a flat spin within the boat’s own length. The maneuverability of these craft is a special feature.
The ride is a combination adrenaline buzz of white-water rafting and Nascar® racing. The New Zealand-style of driving ensures passengers have a safe, thrilling ride – and best of all – it’s suitable for all ages.

Purchase of our Coast Guard approved boats includes advice on logistics, customer service

and merchandising.

THE 12 SEATER ; Equipped with three rows of seats, it is certified by the US Coast Guard for 12 passengers. Our sturdy 18.5 foot all aluminum boats fit into a 20' container and can be delivered anywhere in the world

They are powered by a 375 Marine Power Chevolet 496 engine in combination with a Hamilton 212 jet pump.

The hull design is approved and inspected by the Coast Guard. The entire hull is built out of 5083 marine grade aluminum ranging from .375" in the center ski to .190" in the hull and sides.

The seats are an easily removable "module" to provide inspection of the welds and provide access to the engine.

A successful jet boat operation needs a good location with some flat water to do spins. It helps to have a crowd of people to watch. Trips normally range around 4 miles to travel in 30 minutes.
