THE 12 SEATER - Our design is by Tony Ward, an innovative New Zealander who started Kwick Craft in Tauranga, New Zealand. Smoky Mountain Jet Boats purchased the international design rights in 2005. |  |

Our New Zealand partner Perron Mitchell has built over 160 aluminum boats of all sizes. Trained under Tony Ward he built and sent boats to Korea, Zambia, New Zealand and Japan. He has built 100 mph+ race boats, tour boats and has a range of recreational boats. |  |

The boats are built of marine grade , 5083 gauge aluminum. The bottom ride plate is 10mm or .375" thick, the rest of the hull is 5 mm or .190" and the sides are .156 or 7mm. The design has been Coast Guard approved and the building process is inspected for quality by the Coast Guard. | |

All joints and seams are welded together with a Fronius 2700 mig welder. All fasteners are stainless steel, ensuring the boats last for years. We used a computer aided drawing (CAD) to cut out the pieces for a perfect fit. |  |

We use Awl Grip 2000 marine grade paint.
All the electrical connections are marine grade tinned and stranded wire with heat shrunk connectors |
