Directions: From Exit 64 for Bryson City take Hwy 74 towards Murphy for 10 miles - office is at the corner of Needmore Rd. (before Hwy 28 North and entering the Nantahala Gorge area).

From Asheville, NC: Take I-40 West toward Knoxville, TN. Take exit 27 onto US 74 West toward Waynesville. The Smoky Mountain Jet Boats Office is located 50 miles down this road. Stay on 74 West. After the three Bryson City exits you will cross Lake Fontana on the Captain T Sandlin Bridge.   Go up to the top of the hill - at the BP move into the left lane.   We are located on the left at the bottom of the hill at the junction of HWY 74 and HWY 28N.   Look for the big billboard.   Travel time 1.5 hours.

From East Atlanta: Take I-85 North to I-985 North. At Gainesville, GA take 365 North to 441 North. Just past Dillsboro, NC, US Hwy 441 merges with US 74. Take 74 West past all Bryson City exits you will cross Lake Fontana on the Captain T Sandlin Bridge.   Go up to the top of the hill - at the BP move into the left lane.   We are located on the left at the bottom of the hill at the junction of HWY 74 and HWY 28N.   Look for the big billboard.   Travel time 3 hours.

From West Atlanta: Take I-75 North to I-575 North. I-575 becomes State Hwy 5, which in turn becomes Hwy 76. Stay with this road until you reach Blue Ridge, GA, and then turn left onto Hwy 60 to Mineral Bluff, GA. In Mineral Bluff, turn right onto Spur 60. Follow it to North Carolina to US 74 East, turning right towards Murphy and Andrews. Stay on 74 East. Nantahala Outdoor Center is about 20 miles past Andrews. You will be following the Nantahala River.   At the junction with Hwy 28 go right. The Smoky Mountain Jet Boats Office is immediately on the right. Travel time 3 hours.

From Chattanooga, TN: Take I-75 North toward Cleveland, TN. Take the first Cleveland exit, which is US 64 BYPASS East. Go 6 miles and take the Ocoee Exit onto US 64 East toward Murphy, NC. At Murphy the road number changes to US 74. Stay on US 74 going east toward Andrews.   Stay on 74 East. Nantahala Outdoor Center is about 20 miles past Andrews. You will be following the Nantahala River.   At the junction with Hwy 28 go right. The Smoky Mountain Jet Boats Office is immediately on the right. Travel time 2.5 hours.

From Gatlinburg TN:   Take US Hwy 441 towards Cherokee and the Great Smokies National Park.   In Cherokee follow the signs to Hwy 74 and Bryson City.   On Hwy 74 go right or west. After the three Bryson City exits you will cross Lake Fontana on the Captain T Sandlin Bridge.   Go up to the top of the hill - at the BP move into the left lane.   We are located on the left at the bottom of the hill at the junction of HWY 74 and HWY 28N.   Look for the big billboard on the left.   Travel time can very greatly with the amount of traffic on the road.   It is best to allow plenty of time for the journey - it may take 1/2 to 2 hours.  The Mingus Mill Visitors Center is worth a stop.  

From Cherokee NC:   Take Hwy 74 west. After the three Bryson City exits you will cross Lake Fontana on the Captain T Sandlin Bridge.   Go up to the top of the hill - at the BP move into the left lane.   We are located on the left at the bottom of the hill at the junction of HWY 74 and HWY 28N.   Look for the big billboard on the left.   Travel time 25 minutes.
