Our Forney Creek hiking trip is world - class taking you through some of the most spectacular scenery in the Southern Appalacians. The " Fire Tower Walk" is a rewarding 2 - hour round trip hike to the top of Wesser Bald and the fire tower located there. To get there drive down Needmore Road until it ends and turn right on Tellico Road and drive to the top. Park in the parking area and head right or North for about 45 minutes. A great relaxing ambience. Rivers End Resturant basic and good food overlooking the Nantahala River, also located at the NOC. Pasqualino's has a nice Italian menu with great pizza. 488-9557.
